Drug Free Workplace Program

As part of the effort to create and maintain a safe work environment, Drug-Free Workplace Program training is a new and important training required of all employees in the State of Tennessee.

This course is designed to increase productivity for employers in Tennessee and to promote safe worksites for employees by promoting drug and alcohol-free workplaces. By creating workplaces that are free from drug and alcohol use we promote safe worksites and avoid the costs and delays associated with the tragedies that often occur from substance abuse related injuries.

Employers are not required to join this program, however, employers certified by the Tennessee Drug-Free Workplace Program to be a Tennessee Drug-Free participant are entitled to a 5% premium credit on their workers’ compensation insurance policy.

Topics covered 

Our course covers what a drug-free workplace is and how to recognize employees who may be working while using drugs or alcohol. By actively participating in this training and engaging with the materials provided, you will gain a deeper understanding of your company’s drug free workplace policies, learn how to recognize warning signs, and develop the skills necessary to contribute to a culture of safety, respect, and well-being within your workplace.
