Protect Your Back: Working Safely
The “Protecting Your Back, Working Safely” training program, developed by The HR Firm, is designed to educate employees on the prevention of back injuries in the workplace. This course emphasizes that back injuries are a widespread concern that can lead to pain and decreased quality of life. The curriculum covers key areas such as the mechanics of lifting, the importance of ergonomics and posture, and the identification of workplace hazards that contribute to back injuries. Participants will learn practical skills to protect their backs, including correct lifting techniques, maintaining proper posture while sitting and standing, and the importance of taking breaks and reporting discomfort. The course aims to foster a proactive approach to back safety and a culture of shared responsibility. To successfully complete the training, participants must pass a 5-question final exam with a score of 80% or higher.
